Showcase Showdown was a pogo punk band that came out of Boston in the early 1990's. They toured the Northeast extensively and became notorious for their tongue-in-cheek songs, mostly about colonial heritage. While other punk bands were singing about punk's heyday of 1977, The Showcase went back to their roots in 1777.
Showcase Showdown released only two full-length albums, "Permanent Stains" and "Appetite of Kings." They released most of their work

Bit of an oldie, but I feel like it's maybe got a little staying power. Produced on an off-the-shelf Nintendo Game Boy using the Little Sound DJ tracker software.
